Louis Ray McRoberts

Louis Ray McRoberts, 36, of North Vernon passed away at 9:17 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born January 20, 1981 in Crawfordsville, Mr. McRoberts was the son of Ealanna Riffle Cardenas and the late Lenard McRoberts.

Mr. McRoberts was a foster parent for six to seven years and had worked for Rue 21 clothing store in Seymour for six years.  He enjoyed being around children and caring for them.

He is survived by his mother, Ealanna Cardenas of Mitchell; brothers, John McRoberts of Darlington and Joe Petro of Martinsville; sisters, Lorie O’Hair of Crawfordsville and Christina Aguilar-Briones of Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lenard McRoberts and grandparents, William & Annie McRoberts.

A memorial service will be conduted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Butlerville Mennonite Church in Butlerville. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for Expenses.
