Wilma O. Taulman

Wilma O. Taulman, 81, of North Vernon died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Taulman was a 1943 graduate of Paris Crossing High School. She had been employed at Muscatutack State Developmental Center for 36 years, retiring from nursing services in 1990. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Smiling Senior Citizens, both in North Vernon, and enjoyed traveling. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 24, at Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Tracy Taulman officiating. There is no visitation. Arrangements were made by Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of Jennings County Team II. Born July 31, 1925, in Commiskey, Mrs. Taulman was the daughter of John Howard and Mabel Evelyn Keith Page. She married Lyman Taulman in 1943 in Kentucky. Surviving are a son, Lynn Taulman of Commiskey; a daughter, Evelyn Brierly of North Vernon; three grandchildren, Tracy Taulman of Danville, Illinois, Ginger Arms of Commiskey and Rhonda Robbins of Butlerville; and eight great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Zachary Taulman of Danville, Tasha and Trevor Arms of Commiskey, Brittany Brierly of North Vernon, and Arial, Trent and Tyler Burton of Butlerville. She was preceded in death by her husband, in December 1972; and a daughter, Dianne K. Taulman.
