Donald Wayne Hammond

Donald Wayne Hammond, 43, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of North Vernon, passed away October 15, 2017 in Manatee County, Florida.

Born January 29, 1974 in Columbus, Donald was the son of the late Donald Hammond and Amber Frietzsche Parrish. Donald had been employed at Sylvania in Seymour and previously at Erler Industries in North Vernon. He enjoyed flowers, drawing and artistry, tattoos, and loved being on the beach.

Survivors include his mother, Amber (Patrick Steady) Parrish of North Vernon; brothers Daniel (Holly) Parrish of North Vernon and David Parrish of Florida; sisters Shanna Lee Holwager of Spring Hill, Florida and Sherri Hammond of North Vernon; step mother Jean Hammond of North Vernon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Brother Ricky Persons officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11:00 am until time of service.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
