Kristy Lynne (Brewer) Compton

Kristy Lynne Brewer Compton, 52, of Harrod, Ohio passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the home of her sister in North Vernon.

Born January 6, 1965 in Lima, Ohio; the daughter of Jimmie and Ruby Bays Brewer.

Ms. Compton worked as a State Certified CNA in Tennessee. She was a member of Shiloh Church in Middlesboro, Kentucky and a member of Chapter Two Christian Singing Group in Tennessee. Ms. Compton enjoyed singing, baking, Christmas, snap chat, making friends laugh, but especially spending time with family.

Survivors include her mother, Ruby Brewer of Harrod, Ohio; step-children, Randy (Savannah) Compton of Higdon, Georgia, Bud (Tara) Compton of Lima, Ohio and Shaylia (Matthew) Morrison of Trenton, Georgia; brothers, Jerry Brewer and Ricky (Joyce) Brewer both of Lima, Ohio; sisters, Debra (Jack) Carroll of North Vernon, Barbara O’Neill of Lima, Ohio and Anita (David) Oney of Harrogate, Tennessee; fifteen step-grandchildren and forty one nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Larry Brewer, sister, Teresa Brewer and great-nephew, Xander Houston.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Full Gospel Temple of Love in Lima, Ohio with the Rev. Joe Compton officiating. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of these arrangements.

Memorials may be made in honor of Ms. Brewer through the funeral home for expenses.
