Sherley Ann (Spaulding) Hadley

Sherley Ann Hadley, 67, of  North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born July 9, 1950 in Jackson County, Sherley was the daughter of Clifford and Mary Singleton Spaulding. A 1968 graduate of Jackson County High School, Shirley went on to graduate from Indiana Business College and was employed with the House of Spirits in North Vernon for 17 years.

Sherley married James Hadley on April 3, 1983 in North Vernon and he survives. She enjoyed reading, going to yard sales, and spending time with family.

Surviving with her husband are daughters, Natalie (David Gilpin) Craft of North Vernon, Katherine (Brian) Quade of Seymour, and Lisa (Greg) Davis of Brownstown; grandchildren, Jamie (Curtis) Miller of Austin, Hollie (Andy) Barkocy of Greenwood, Joshua Burton and Jesse (Breanna) Burton both of Seymour, Mitchell Reynolds of San Francisco, CA, Jayse and Clifford Davis both of Brownstown, Johnathon Ritchie, Mariann Craft, James Craft, and Justin Spaulding all of North Vernon, Nichelle  Weemes of North Carolina; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Johnny Spaulding, and brother John Gordon Spaulding.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Mitchell McIntyre officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 noon until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to help with family expenses.
