It's been beautiful this week! Warm temps and lots of sunshine. I think we have rain coming in tonight though. Love a good rain storm! Baseball season has started. Off this weekend, but close to home next weekend! Wish you were here to hang out with! Love and miss you so much.....

Spring is springing Miss B!! The trees with the fluffy, white flowers are so pretty this spring! The grass is getting greener. Daffodils are everywhere! Now...if it would only warm up and STAY warm for a while! Very chilly out. It will warm up soon!! wish you were here to enjoy it with us!! Love and miss you so much......

Hey Miss B! Spring is coming! We had some snow over the weekend, but it's pretty much gone now. Hoping this is the last snow for the season! Ready for Spring in 30 days! :) Went on my first semi trip with RW! Was a short adventure. He went to Texas and made a delivery. So far, so good! Heading to Florida for a few days. Life is good, but missing you!!! Love and miss you so much.....

It's 2024 Miss B! I'm looking forward to a great year ahead. Big things around the corner!! This is the part of the year that I dread the most. The Christmas lights come down, the trees are ugly, and it's yucky outside. Spring is in 78 days! I will look forward to that! My heart misses you very much. This ole world just isn't the same without you... Love and miss you so much...

We missed you tonight! Such a beautiful day today! I think it got up to 65 degrees! Was so nice seeing the sunshine. The kids played outside before the Christmas Eve festivities began. Not a lot there this year....so many people sick. Others just here and there! There were bowls of your Christmas cracker thingy's sitting around. You and I have had many discussions about those things! LOL!!! We miss you Miss B. You would have been in your element this evening!! We've got an amazing family!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! So many lights already this year. Oh would you love it! ❤️ Addie and Bode are hosting Christmas Eve this year. It will be fun having it at someone's house again! I've got a couple of games planned! Going to be so fun! You would sooo love it all! Especially this time of year...Love and miss you so much.....

Had a super fun time in Pigeon Forge! It's more and more crowded every time, but we still had fun! The Christmas lights are sooo pretty! I think of you every time we are there. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! #71 for you and Jim today? Yes...yes...I know it's been a hot minute but I know you've been right along with us on all the adventures! It's been a fun summer!! So hard to believe that it's September already...you know me and Fall. Lol...I'm trying! I did get the tote of fall decorations out and to the front of the house at least! Maybe Everlee will put them out this weekend! I say we skip the Fall decorations and just go for the Christmas tree!! I can hear you now.."slow down. enjoy this season. it goes by too fast." Shew..does it ever! Next week is 6 years. ;'( I sure miss you. You are one of a kind Miss B. Even if it's not on here - you are still in my heart every day.

RW and I going to do some kayaking - that will be fun! Maybe go to Busch Gardens. That's a nice place. You would love the flowers there! It was early when I got the phone call from the nursing home. I needed to come there immediately - something wasn't right. By this time, six years ago, my heart had broken into a million little pieces. You would never be the same. It was the beginning of the end. My best memories of you will not be of the next few months. My best memories will be all of the fun times and all of the laughing. I miss you Miss B. You are always in my thoughts. I see you in the little things. Love and miss you so much......

Six years ago, today was your 'last best day ever'... I know I say it every year - but I don't want that memory to go away. It had been a bit rough up to today. You woke up, threw the covers off, told the girls at the nursing home you wanted your hair done and make up on, you wanted a sparkly top, and some jewelry!! Today was the day for your birthday party!

Happy Mother's Day weekend Miss B! If you were here, I would buy you a hanging basket of flowers that you picked out. We would go for a milkshake (no, I wouldn't tell! Our secrets were ours to keep. ;) We would drive around and look at the new flowers coming out and just enjoy the sunshine! So thankful I have some videos of you. I can hear your voice and that laugh anytime I want!!! Love and miss you so much....... so much........

Today is your baby child's 58th birthday! He's already in the semi headed to deliver mulch. He saw a house fire this morning and called 911! He always seem to come across the craziest things!! Thanks for the butterflies! They seem VERY yellow this year!!! Ice cream cake this evening. Wish you were here to have some - I know how much you loved a good ice cream cake and presents!!! It's Spring in Indiana!! Although I'm in Florida again...the weather has been something else! I'm glad winter is over. I will take the storms and rain and heat over snow any day!! Your picture is from Easter, 2013. Seconds after that beautiful smile....you threw up in your lap! We were all freaking out! You said your tummy felt a little weird, but after you cleaned up, you went right on like nothing had happened the rest of the day! I'm sure each of us have many Easter memories! I know I sure miss you at Easter...well EVERY day for that matter! Love and miss you so much.......

Wow what a rough day Miss B! Three friends lost parents within the past three days...my heart breaks for them. I know it's always a wonderful day to meet Jesus. Morning Miss B! Getting ready for Sunday School and thinking of you! It's been a great week! Celebrated my 56th birthday, worked at both jobs, put up some more Christmas decorations, and went to Stef's baby shower yesterday. She looks so adorable!! Baby Ellie is just bumping right out there! I got to feel her moving around! 💕 Can't wait to see her face! It's starting to look a little more like Christmas with lights popping up here and there! I miss you and your love for the holidays. Love and miss you so much....

Hey Miss B! You have a new great granddaughter!! Oh is she a beauty! Came into the world on the 13th. Another new baby to love!! Florida is so awesome. I love it down here but we are heading home in a couple of days. RW has a fun adventure planned for tomorrow! Can't wait!! It's been a great week. Ready to watch some baseball next weekend though. :) My baby turns 31 on Tuesday! I can hardly believe it! As always, I sure miss you. I just can't believe you have been gone for FIVE years! Doesn't even seem possible! I miss you every day...but there are some days that my heart just aches. I miss our chats. I miss our naps. Good Morning Miss B~ My aunt Jody went to Heaven on Saturday. I can sooo picture her grand entrance into those pearly gates! First, a hug from Jesus. Welcoming her Home! Then her running to my Mamaw. I can seriously see it in my mind! What a celebration! You have a new granddaughter! Officially welcomed Carmen into the family yesterday! Your great granddaughter will be here before we know it! And then the next great grand!! All just so exciting! I so wish you were here! Love and miss you so much.....

Hey Miss B....it's been pretty toasty here lately. Little bit of rain here and there, but not much. Farmers really need some. Supposed to cool off a tiny bit this weekend. Mason has a baseball tourney so it would be awesome if it were a little cooler for those boys. Mid 80's I believe is the forecast. As far as I know everyone is doing well. New babies coming - that's so exciting! Bless these sweet new Mamma's! Love and miss you so much.....

My Uncle Ronnie joined you in Heaven last week. We are all so sad here - but celebrating for him too! What an amazing man. Sooo, so loved by everyone! This is the day that I sometimes feel is one of the hardest. After you left us and the service was over, we laid you to rest, went to the dinner and told many stories about you.....then came Monday. Life just went on. I wanted everyone to just stop what they were doing. We had just lost you and my heart was broken...but life just continued on. That's what we do here - we just continue on, the best we can without those we love. I miss you every single day Miss B. So for now, I will continue on until I see you again! Love and miss you so much.....

Spring is coming! Spring is coming! Being in Florida - it feels like it's already here!! Our yard was full of Robin's the other day. The birds sing and there are butterflies here all the time anyway. We had a great party for my Dad's 80th birthday last week. Deb and I were talking about how you would have loved to have been there!! You loved a good party! Especially surprise parties!!! We had lots of fun last night at the family get together! Your most favorite time of the year!! Many pans of lasagna, salad, and tons of desserts! Presents were opened - switched and stolen! So much fun! We miss you terribly but know you are celebrating with Jesus!! I'm ready for Florida! After year end stuff is finished - I'm done with Indiana for a while! Bring on Spring! The weather has been super warm here anyway - I am loving this NO SNOW! ;) Merry Christmas Miss B....Love and miss you so much!!!!

What a great day!!! Tomorrow is my birthday and today I came into an office full of balloons, flowers, cake, and a card! Amanda and the guys are so good to me! You know how I LOVE celebrating birthday's...especially my own!! BAHAHA! My Facebook memory will pop up tomorrow of you playing the piano for me one last time.. I sure do miss you playing for me!!! I just miss YOU...period!! I put my Christmas tree up. I know I say different times are your favorite times of the year...but I do know that the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were your most favorite! Love and miss you.....so much!!!!!

Hello Miss B!! Today my child turns 30!! Can you believe it!? How did she continue to get so old and I stay so young!? Ha! Ha! We gathered together for cake and singing yesterday. So much fun. I missed you being there. I miss you being everywhere! :) I hope you liked the flowers. You and Jim are getting new ones for Christmas this year. I'm ready to put my tree up! I've got the perfect spot for it in the new house (Indiana house, not the Florida house). Maybe my birthday weekend I will put it up. I know...I know...Thanksgiving comes first!! One holiday at a time - you would always say! I miss you...... Love and miss you....so much!!!!

Thinking about you this morning! (as usual!) It seems like I always say "you would love this day or that day" I guess it's because you always found something good in just about every single day!! You loved Fall - the colors of the leaves, the cool mornings and the warm afternoons. "It's Fall in Indiana!" Mason started playing travel baseball. I know you would love to be there cheering him on!! Clapping and getting all excited for him! I know you are there in spirit though. Started moving a few things into the new house. Life is good. I just told your handsome son this morning that I can't believe you've been gone almost four years!! Sooo hard to believe. This Sunday will be four years. Everlee was just a little thing when you left but every time she sees a yellow butterfly - she yells Hi Grandma Betty!! So sweet. I wish so much you could have made more memories with them. I still talk about you and have pictures of you everywhere so they can see your face. I don't want anyone to forget my beautiful Mother-in-Love!! Love and miss you.......so much! PS. we close on house #1 the 20th and house #2 the 23rd! Yes..yes...we have lost our minds!! LOL!

Went to the beach this morning. Just been hanging out. Big things in the works...we will see what happens! Mason and Everlee started school last Friday. Mason is a 3rd grader and Evs is in Kindergarten. They had a great first day. Love those little people so much! They are such great kids! You would love them!! They are some fine looking babes! (even if I do say so myself!!) Love and miss you........so much!!!

I hear you singing to me. The kids yell "Hi Grandma Betty" when a butterfly is close by! We still talk about you and I let them know how much you adored them. Tomorrow is your baby boy's 56th birthday! He's super excited for an upcoming trip. Crazy riding in Utah. I'm pretty sure they are all gonna have a great time! I went to a wedding over the weekend. We woke up to SNOW this morning!! I am NOT a snow fan. Ready to get in my car and drive to my warm house in Florida!! LOL...I can hear you now....Well, it's Spring in Indiana!! Happy Easter Miss B!!! Wow would you love this day!!!! It is so beautiful outside! The whole family got together yesterday for the first time since Christmas, 2019!! Almost everyone was there, sadly missing a few. It was SOO wonderful seeing everyone and spending time with them! GOOD MORNING!! HAPPY SPRING!!!! It's a chilly 30something degrees here - but the sun is shining and I am missing you!! My selfish heart aches that Jeanette James passed yesterday. But I am soo excited that she is with Jesus now! No more hurting or struggling. I was going in Monday to send her Spring flowers but I waited too long. :'( As I sit here looking out my window, I see different birds at the feeder. I see new green grass showing up in the wintery brown yard. The sprouts of my daylillies are peeking through. I SOOO love Spring! Love you and miss you terribly.

The weather here is amazing. So blessed and so thankful to be here. I miss Mason and Everlee terribly, but know I will see them soon. They got a lot of snow at home. Do not miss that at all. Spent a few days with John and Deb. Had a great time! Not sure if Walter is going to come down or not. Hopefully he will so we can all hang out for dinner or something. Miss you Miss B. Welp, it's that time of the year....your youngest and I are preparing for our adventure. We were just discussing how so very blessed we are to be in the position to take an adventure like this again. You would be so proud of him. Lol...dishes, laundry, cleaning the whole house! It is pretty sweet, I must say! Super excited, but I sure am gonna miss my babies. My heart aches thinking about not being able to hug them or kiss them or smell their skin for a while. Man would you love them!!! They are THE best! Love and Miss you SO much.

Merry Christmas Betty~~ You would not have been a fan of this Christmas. We did not gather together once again. Everyone celebrated in their own homes, which was nice. The kids didn't have to rush from one place to another~running late or having to leave early. Walter came over and had breakfast casserole with Robert and I Christmas morning. That was nice. I made your cheeseburger soup. I think Addie or Britt made your snacking crackers. Deb made your apple strudel and cheeseball. We were all missing you for sure. It's sure not the same without you. The lights are soo amazing this year. Oh would you love taking a drive to see them. We think of you and talk about you every time RW and I go out for a drive. This COVID craziness continues. Miss B...I just don't know what you would think about all of this!! It's so weird and so crazy! Wear a mask, don't wear a mask. Go out. Stay home. Don't touch people. Stand 6' back. Send the kids to school, don't send them. I was out and about the other day and needed to sneeze.... I felt like I was going to be tackled if I sneezed in public!! It's all just so weird. Other than that....everyone is doing well, as far as I know! I miss you! So much. Love you!!

A little behind in my posting..sorry about that!! Yesterday was a better day. Went riding with some friends for about 4 hours. So great getting out of the house and breathing in the fresh, warm air. Started out a little chilly, but the sun was shining and made it warm up nicely. Rode over by Carrollton. Nice ride with great friends. I'm sitting here waiting for the online church services to start. You would not like that at all. lol! Right now, we cannot have a service in the church, but hoping that we can very soon. Everything is still so crazy Miss B. Businesses are closing. Churches are closed. People are not supposed to gather together. We are being directed to not be less than 6 feet apart. One person is allowed to go grocery shopping per family. We are supposed to wear masks in public. The hospital workers are completely worn out. There is not enough supplies for them. I have never in my life seen anything like this. I'm so, so thankful you are safe in Heaven . I miss you and I love you, but I'm so glad you are not here right now...........

Hi Miss B...I'm really thankful you are in Heaven. This world is a crazy place right now. There is a terrible virus going around all over the world killing people! People are looking at each other in suspicious ways wondering if they have this sickness. I'm keeping my faith in the Lord. HE will get us through this. I miss you but I'm thankful you are safe at Home. I love you!!

Rough week. :( I just cannot kick this cough thing on top of the ** and the **. It's all piling up and weighing me down. Give it to God, I know. Wish you were here to hug me and let me talk you ear off. Even though I felt like crud, I was able to celebrate a great friends (Missy) 50th birthday, spend the day with another friend (Lisa), and lunch and a movie with Tamika. My circle is small, but it's amazing.

Happy 2020 Miss B! I know there is no 'time' in Heaven, but it's a new year down here. Everyone making resolutions and promises to themselves. I hope some of them really keep them. Instead of it all being about me, me, me...I really hope everyone spreads love and kindness this year. Me included. BIG changes for me in this new year and I'm super excited! I sure do miss you. Love you.......

I laughed to myself and thought "man Miss B...it's awfully early to be singing already." But then I remembered you were in Heaven and it's ALWAYS a perfect time to be singing for Jesus!

MERRY CHRISTMAS BETTY!! How about that family Christmas last night!?! I pictured you sitting right in the middle of it all. The kids running around and everyone laughing and talking!! No Bourbon Balls this year...sorry!! ;) I just can't make them like you did! :) We all woke up to a beautiful sunrise, no snow though! I know you loved snow on Christmas morning. Missing you EXTRA today. The Christmas Cantata was last night at church. You would have loved it! The carols that were sung....I can hear you singing them now. I was in the Drama part. Was fun. A few lights and Christmas trees are starting to pop up here and there! So wish you were here so I could drive you around to see them. Your #5 son has kept me on my toes lately. Mashed his finger, spent 3 1/2 hours in the emergency room. Also has a cold on top of that!! Poor guy! Taking care of him best I can!

Super cold yesterday and today. You never know what Indiana is going to bring us. I have your little Christmas tree up on my desk. The kids and I decorated the one at the house yesterday. Getting "the recipe book" out... I'm going to take it at Thanksgiving and have everyone pick one of your recipes to make for Christmas! I thought that would be super fun! Sure wish you were here to make them. Thanks for having such a wonderful son. Robert has taken great care of me this week - I've had a terrible sinus thing (as does all of southern Indiana). Cooking and cleaning and doing the laundry. Put our giant snowman up on the dock..he's pretty swell!!! Love you!!

Welp, it's Fall!! I'm trying really hard to get in the groove with everyone else with the whole 'enjoying the leaves and colors and hoodies and bonfire' stuff. Not thinking about what comes AFTER Fall. It was a cool morning and the sun is shining bright. It's a good day. Could use a hug and a little bit of "it's all going to be ok" from you.

Ok, so I'm going to TRY and like Fall this year. LOL! You know I've always hated Fall because it leads to Winter. (boooo!) So this year, I'm going to just go with the flow and take in all of the colors and the hoodies and the apple cider flavored things. NO pumpkin spice though. That is where I draw the line! lol! Just a note to say hi. A good friend of mine is having surgery today and a cousin tomorrow. I know you would pray for both if you were here. The two year anniversary of you leaving us is coming up. I miss you just as much as that day. I'm thankful you are in Heaven though. Have I told you lately how much I love that youngest son of yours?? He's pretty amazing. I never knew someone could love me as much as he does.

All of the kiddos are in full swing at school. Their "first day pictures" were all so stinking cute! I've got some pretty sweet great nieces and very handsome great nephews being raised by some pretty awesome Mommy's and Daddy's.

You have a new great granddaughter!!!! Billy and Chelsey had Anna yesterday. :) Another new baby to love! It's been a beautiful weekend. We had a super fun time last night scooping the loop in town. Hanging out with friends and watching the cars go by! Brought back a lot of old memories! :) Today is my Mom's birthday!

Sooo much fun last week taking the kids to Coney Island!! They loved the water park. :) Mason LOVES the water and is so good at diving and swimming. Everlee is getting braver; she will paddle around with her floatie on by herself as long as someone is right there with her. Rylee is an awesome swimmer too! You would just love them so much. They are great kids! Everyone here is doing well as far as I know. Chelsey is getting ready for Miss Anna's arrival. Always nice welcoming a new baby into the family!

Tomorrow is the 2 year anniversary of your last birthday party! Man that was such a fun day! You were having a great day that day. Whasup Miss B! Spring storms headed in today and tomorrow. It has rained and rained and rained. Hardly no crops out at all! The weather has been so nuts. I know...I know....IT'S SPRING IN INDIANA! ;) Mom fell and dislocated her elbow over the weekend. She thought she had broken her arm, but it was just dislocated. She's bound to a recliner for at least 3 days. Today is Day #2. Uncle Bill isn't doing very well. :( My guess is that he will be coming to be with you soon. Introduce him to my Mamaw.

Sad news to report this week. Uncle Bill suffered a stroke on Friday, April 26th. :( Robert and I have been over a couple of times to see him. I can tell he is so scared. Some of his actions remind me so much of you after you had yours. His left side is paralyzed where yours was on the right side. I went and visited Aunt Wendy yesterday. She's sad and scared as well. I made her laugh a few times though. Uncle Bill is 92 now. My heart aches for Duke and Kathy. I know exactly how they feel and everything they are facing. Praying God is with all of them. I love and miss you! See you soon!

Easter was fun! It rained like crazy on Saturday - but we still had a great time. We hid the eggs in my living room. Well, they weren't really HID - just thrown about all over the floor and furniture. The kiddos didn't care though - they had fun. :) My heart is sad that you are not here to hold and talk to all of these amazing little people. They are all soooo funny and precious!!! Their Mommy and Daddy's are doing an awesome job with them.

It is SOOOOOO warm outside right now!! It's really hard to sit in this office - I'd much rather be out enjoying the sunshine! :) Easter is coming! I get to do a part in the Good Friday celebration at church this year. I am Pilot's wife. :) I know you will be right there watching. Your picture is from Easter, 2013. The babies were so little then! Several new ones since then. Chels is having another girl!

HAPPY SPRING! HAPPY SPRING! HAPPY SPRING!!!! :) :) I know you would be wanting to be outside to breathe in the new spring air! It's still chilly right now - but it's Spring! Winter is over! (on the calendar, at least!!!) Going to have the family over for Easter at my house this year. Sooooo many little ones that will be hunting eggs!

I miss hearing your voice in person. So thankful I have those little bits of you though....and the videos of you playing the piano for me. Priceless. I miss you and I love you! Have a great day!!!

Sunday was so beautiful outside. I sat on the back porch and heard you in my wind chimes. :) I'm so ready for spring. Wish you were here so we could have some of those "winter" chats! lol! HAPPY 2019 MISS B!! This is going to be a GREAT year! I'm (FINALLY!) taking some advice you always gave me (you know what I'm talking about!). :) We still haven't seen any of that "S" word that I do not like in Winter. I'm happy about it though! I'm ready for Spring. 73 days. Birds were singing yesterday-it was so nice out! I took a walk at the park - I hope you heard me talking to you. I miss you! I love you! Now let's go kick some 2019 butt!! ;)

As we are just a couple of days away from Thanksgiving - I have to thank God for allowing me to be your daughter in law. You were always so wonderful to me. You knew what to say and when to say it. I think the words "popcorn balls" has probably popped into the head of every Williams family member that can remember these!!! Wish we had a dollar for every popcorn ball you made to give out for Halloween! I start back at Kohl's soon. Will think of you when I walk past all of those fuzzy blankets you always loved! Miss Betty was such a wonderful lady. I have many fond memories of her and James, stopping by Jim Dandys for dessert and coffee, her fabulous green bean casserole, Sunday dinners with the family. The boys wrestling in the living room and Betty saying sweetly" now boys stop that" I never heard her raise her voice. Her church and her family were her top priority. She was truly an angel on earth. My condolences to her sons and families.
